is one of the longest running independent artists Open Studios in London. Open to any artist living in the catchment area, this yearly event, which normally takes place during the first weekend of July, sees about 30 to 40 artists share their unique works of art to the general public who not only find out about them but also have the opportunity to purchase these works of art.
Brockley Open Studios rekindles the sense of neighbourliness, renews the ties of community, and celebrates the beauty of art in all her varied forms.
We open our studio for people to come along and look at our own work, the work of our adult and child students and to have a go on the sewing machine if they have never tried before.
We encourage visitors to bring along items they might have that need repairing so we can show them how to make their clothes last for longer.
