The Marylebone Project

The Marylebone Project

The Marylebone Project is the UK’s largest women’s hostel providing shelter, community, training & spiritual space for women affected by homelessness.

Jaime attends their centre weekly to deliver 2 sewing sessions for the women. A year long course funded by Westminster Adult Education Service.

The beginners class which has taken the students from threading a needle to creating accessories and well fitting clothes.

The intermediate class began with learning pattern cutting and how to make something to their exact body measurements, and has now moved on to how to take a pattern from an existing item of clothing and working from more complex patterns.
