We Are Patched Together

WE ARE PATCHED TOGETHER ONLINE EXHIBITION


We Are Patched Together is a collaborative community artwork produced by Lewisham residents. Over 120 makers from all corners of Lewisham from Deptford to Downham learnt creative textile skills from their homes. With the help of our lovely volunteers, every 2 weeks we delivered a creative pack with all the equipment and materials they needed for each technique. The makers, who range from age 7 to over 75 all had different experience levels before joining the project, some had never used a needle and thread before! We are immensely proud of every single one of our patchers.
