We may have an ulterior motive with this one. We want you to come and take all our fabric scraps off our hands! But, we think it’s a pretty sweet deal. You will:
Learn awesome sewing skills, from patch to piping, zips and covered buttons.
Leave with a gorgeous hand made, and totally unique patchwork pouffe for your home.
You’ll be doing something good for the planet. It is made from and stuffed with remnant fabrics. Win, win win!
Perfect for those who want improve their sewing skills. We’ve got some design ideas to help inspire you but the final design is up to you and we’ll be there to guide you along the way.

In this workshop series you will:
Come up with your own patchwork design and implement it.
Learn how to do a lapped or invisible zip.
Create and sew on your own binding.
Leave with a unique recycled pouffe.

You don’t have to be an expert stitcher to do this class but it would help if you can thread a machine and know some of the basics. If you need a little refresher that’s ok!
You might want to do our Learn to Sew: Tote Bag or Cushion first. -
We have everything you need for this project. We have a lot of gorgeous interior fabrics we have been donated, from velvets to corduroy and more.
Any offcuts and smallish pieces you want to use from our stash you are welcome to use for free.
If you wish to take a larger piece 1m x 1m for example there may be a small charge, fabrics are usually priced at £5 per metre.
If you want to bring your own fabrics to make your pouffe from you are off course more than welcome to!
We recommend thicker non stretch fabrics. You will need approximately 1 Metre.
