Make Mee Studio Featured on BBC Radio London for Repair Week

We had a very exciting moment this week, Make Mee Studio was featured on BBC Radio London as part of their coverage of Repair Week.

Our co-founder Jaime Greenly joined presenter Jumoke Fashola on the show to talk about why repair matters, what we’ve been doing during Repair Week, and why we’re so passionate about helping people mend their clothes rather than throw them away.

At Make Mee, we believe repair is a powerful skill. Learning how to patch a hole, fix a seam, or bring an old garment back to life changes the way people see the things they own. It helps clothes last longer, builds confidence, and reconnects us with the value of making and caring for our belongings (you can find out more about what we do here!)

Repair Week is all about making those skills visible and accessible, and it was wonderful to share the work happening in our studio and across the wider repair community. Check out our Instagram or our booking page to see the full list of events happening.

A big thank you to Jumoke Fashola and BBC Radio London for inviting us onto the show and helping spread the message that repair really can make a difference.
